 State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology

The cycle of works "Scientific bases of ecological assessment of hydrotechnical objects impact on water ecosystems for the purpose of water quality management and bioproductivity" was awarded by the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (V.D. Romanenko, O.P.Oksiyuk, V.M. Zhukinsky, F.V. Stolberg, V. I. Lavrik, 1995).
For the textbook "Fundamentals of Hydroecology" (2001) the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology was awarded to Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Romanenko V.D., 2004.
State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 2013 for the cycle of scientific works "Development of scientific bases and methods of bioindication and biomonitoring of natural ecosystems of Ukraine" (in the author's team, the Head of the Department of Ichthyology and Ecology of River Systems, S.O. Afanasiev).

Prizes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named after prominent scientists of Ukraine

Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named after V. Ya. Yuriev for researches of mechanisms of adaptation of hydrobionts (V.D. Romanenko, 1984)
Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named I.I. Schmalhausen for research works "Ecological bases of biotechnologies for the reproduction of fish and invertebrates in aquaculture" (V.D. Romanenko, Yu.G. Krot, V.D. Solomatina, 2002).
Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named I.I. Schmalhausen for research works "Rarity Ichthyofauna as an indicator of the ecological state of the rivers of Ukraine" (S.O. Afanasiev, N.I. Goncharenko, V.L. Dolinsky, 2011).

State Awards

The Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise 5th Class of Ukraine was awarded to Victor Romanenko, Director of the Institute of Hydrobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 2015.
