Collection of microaglae cultures (HPDP)
COLLECTION OF MICROAGLAE CULTURES OF THE INSTITUTE OF HYDROBIOLOGY OF NAS OF UKRAINE (HPDP)
The collection includes 39 strains of algae belonging to 31 species (23 genera). Available species and strains of microalgae present in the collection belong to 4 divisions (Сyanoprokaryota, Сhlorophyta, Euglenophyta, Rhodophyta), 5 classes (Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Trebouxiophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Porphyridiophyceae), 9 orders (Nostocales, Chroococcales, Synechococcales, Oscillatoriales, Sphaeropleales, Chlamydomonadales, Chlorellales, Euglenales, Porphyridiales), 14 families (Nostocaceae, Rivulariaceae, Hapalosiphonaceae, Microcystaceae, Merismopediaceae, Coleofasciculaceae, Microcoleaceae, Oscillatoriaceae, Hydrodictyaceae, Selenastraceae, Scenedesmaceae, Chlamydomonadaceae, Chlorellaceae, Euglenaceae, Porphyridiaceae) and 23 genera (Anabaena Bory ex Bornet et Flahault, Desmonostoc Hrouzek et Ventura, Nostoc Vaucher ex Bornet et Flahault, Trichormus (Ralfs ex Bornet et Flahault) Kom?rek et Anagn., Calothrix C. Within existing collection of microalgae 17 species (24 strains) belong to the Сyanoprokaryota, 12 species (13 strains) - to Сhlorophyta and one species each (one strain each) - to Euglenophyta and Rhodophyta.

Cultures of green (3) and blue-green (4) microalgae in a liquid nutrient medium.
